We’re here to help in the heart of your neighbourhoods
Our teams are always out and about in your neighbourhoods – offering you support and advice when you need it.
There are several other ways you can chat to us about a whole range of issues, whether it’s to do with your tenancy, neighbourhood or any support you need.
Here’s a reminder of what’s happening and how you can get involved.
Neighbourhood Hub drop-ins
We run our services from a range of community centres which we call our Neighbourhood Hubs. These hubs are local to you and are where we host our weekly drop-in sessions with our Neighbourhood Officers. These sessions are a great opportunity to have a chat with your Neighbourhood Officer, your key point of contact at One Manchester. They can help you with any questions you may have about your tenancy and what support and services are available. You don’t need an appointment; you can just turn up.
We’ve listened to your feedback and have made some slight adjustments to some of our drop-in times to better suit your needs. These changes will come into effect from Friday 13 June:
- Mondays, The Grange Community Resource Centre – drop-ins will be 1-4pm
- Tuesdays, Anson Community Centre – drop-ins will be 9-11am
- Wednesdays, Gorton Hub – drop-ins will be 3-6pm
- We’ll no longer host drop-in sessions at the Chrysalis on Fridays
Our other Hub drop-ins will remain the same – you can find details of all our drop-in sessions on our Neighbourhood services page.

Neighbourhood inspections
Neighbourhood inspections are all about us working together to keep your neighbourhoods looking great. At each inspection, we'll walk around your neighbourhood and assess everything from how our facilities are looking to green spaces upkeep.
Join us at your local inspection – you’ll have the opportunity to point out any issues in your local area you want addressed as we go. Whether it’s fly-tipping or overgrown trees – tell us about it and we’ll note it down and make sure it’s added to the list to get sorted.
Our inspections usually take place bi-monthly, and you can find the details of your next local neighbourhood inspection, where to meet and when it takes place on our Neighbourhood services page.
Not able to attend? Don’t worry, you can contact your Neighbourhood Officer before the inspection to tell them about any issues you’ve noticed that you want fixing.

Neighbourhood clean-ups
Our schedule of neighbourhood clean-ups will continue over the next few months, and we’ll keep you updated on when these are taking place in your area through leaflets, our online events calendar and on our social media channels.
Why not join us and volunteer at one of our neighbourhood clean-ups? We’ll have litter picking equipment and free skips available to remove waste and keep your area looking tidy. It’s a great way to catch up with your neighbours and other volunteers while helping make sure your neighbourhood is a place where you can be proud to live.
