The amount you’ll received depends on how long you’ve been with us, but after one years’ continuous service we offer enhanced pay.

Sabbaticals and career breaks

We offer short or long-term periods of unpaid absence up to a maximum of six months, so you can have that well-deserved career break.

Special leave

You can take up to five days’ paid emergency leave throughout the year to cover these emergencies.

We hold two annual social events where you’ll get the chance to socialise with colleagues away from the office, all expenses paid!

We’re proud to be a Real Living Wage Employer and are committed to paying all our people a decent wage, including our Apprentices, as a minimum. We also have annual salary reviews too and regularly benchmark our salaries externally to ensure we remain competitive.

A top tier pension

We offer the Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS), where colleagues contribute 3% of their salary and we put in 11.4%   – meaning you get to keep more of your hard-earned money each month while still saving for your retirement.

Life assurance

While you’re an employee of One Manchester, our scheme will pay a lump sum of the equivalent of three times your salary to beneficiaries should the worst happen.
