Organisations are invited to apply for new Winter Wellness Fund
Introducing the Winter Wellness Fund
We are excited to announce the launch of our brand-new fund, the Winter Wellness Fund which has been set up to support Manchester residents in our areas this winter!
We're inviting local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations to apply for grants of between £2,500 and £10,000.
The Winter Wellness Fund has been set up, in response to the increased cost of living and the impact it is having on our customers and communities. The new fund aims to support local residents that have been hardest hit by the cost of living crisis.
The Winter Wellness Fund aims to fund projects that help local residents in a variety of areas such as support with managing financial pressures, helping families to maximise their income and reduce costs and helping low-income households access to community activities to aid their wellbeing and ensure they stay connected.
You can find out more about the fund including information on who can apply, our eligibility requirements and the application process here
Applications for the Winter Wellness Fund closed at 12 noon on Friday 18 November 2022. All applications will be reviewed by our panel, and we will be in touch with applicants to let them know the outcome of their application following this.
Our ongoing commitment to dealing with damp and mould
In December 2022, we provided a report to the Regulator of Social Housing on how many of our homes had cases of damp and mould. To date, the majority of repairs have been completed for our customers, making sure your home is a safe and healthy space.Posted 04 Aug 2023
