We’re excited to have launched our services at Gorton Hub.

Gorton Hub is a new, all-in-one space dedicated to learning, health, and community services. It's designed to make your life easier by bringing various support services together under one roof.

Below you can find everything you need to know about our new setup at Gorton Hub.

What services are on offer?

  • Support from Neighbourhood Officers: Meet with our Neighbourhood Officers to chat about any housing-related queries.
  • New customer introduction training: Find out everything you need to know to get started in your new home.
  • Employment and skills training: Choose from a variety of modules, including interview techniques, everyday IT skills, job searching, and more
  • Employer events: Connect with potential employers.
  • Vocational training: Explore opportunities, especially in fields like hospitality.
  • Money help: Get the financial advice you need.

Why should I visit?

You can access multiple support services in one place, that’s just around the corner. Whether you're seeking help with employment and skills training or financial guidance, we've got you covered.
 

What are your opening times? 

We know life can get busy, so our services will be available on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends to better fit your schedule. 

Neighbourhood Officer drop-in sessions:

  • Wednesday: 3.30 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Thursday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Employment and skills support

If you’d like to access employment and skills support our Employment Mentors will be happy to help. 
Get in touch with the team here or you can visit them at the Hub at the following times:

  • Monday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Thursday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

If you’d like to meet with someone from our Financial Inclusion team, you’ll need to book an appointment.
