On the hunt for a new job or opportunity? Maybe you're looking for a job, getting back to work, interested in training or just want a change. We know the world of work can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes, but don't worry, we're here to help!
We’re thrilled to have teamed up with Manchester City Council to bring you our Future Focus event series. Our Future Focus events are a chance to explore what role might be for you and learn more about work opportunities in a big range of industries. Meet people who work in fields like hospitality, construction, and health, and hear first-hand what it's like, what skills you need and what steps to take to getting into jobs. And not only that, but we’ll also fix you up with an employment mentor who will help you however you need it.
So, if you're curious about all the different jobs that are out there and which might work for you, these events are the perfect place to find out!
What can I expect from an event?
Each Future Focus event is friendly and informal, pop along for a chance to hear from local employers about working in their field – and enjoy a coffee whilst you’re at it.

After you’ve filled out the form, you’ll:
- Receive an email invite to our Future Focus events
- Go along to the events you’re interested in
- Get booked for a 1-2-1 appointment with an employment mentor
- Get the chance to discuss CV improvement, job applications, or finding training opportunities with your mentor.
