Launching our services at the Beacon Centre in Clayton

Come along to our launch event to find out more about our free drop-in services, speak to community partners, and enjoy free tea, coffee and snacks.

You asked, we listened.

Our neighbourhood and employment and skills drop-ins have landed at the Beacon Centre in Clayton, and this October we'll be hosting an official launch event so you can get to know what they're all about. At our event, you can:

  • Enjoy free coffee, tea, and snacks 
  • Find out more about our weekly drop-in sessions
  • Get tenancy as well as employment advice and support at a location convenient to you 
  • Chat to an Employment and Skills mentor or your local Neighbourhood Officer 
  • Connect with colleagues from Greater Manchester Police and Manchester City Council

Join us on Thursday 22 October from 1-3pm as we officially launch our new neighbourhood hub at The Beacon Centre, 131 Barrington Street, Clayton (M11 4FB) – we can’t wait to welcome you.

What happens next?

Our relaxed drop-in neighbourhood and employment and skills service is now running every Tuesday from 10am-12pm. Come along to:  

  • Access support with anything you need work-wise. Whether you’re starting your career, looking for a change, or returning to work after a break – our Employment and Skills team are here to help. 
  • Access support with anything related to your tenancy or home – at our drop-in you can chat to us in person about anything on your mind, whether it’s a repair, reporting anti-social behaviour, or advice on managing your tenancy, come down and chat things through.
