With spring approaching, our thoughts turn to spending more time enjoying our outside spaces.
We know that where we live and our environment is important for our sense of community.
That’s why we’re committed to help keep your neighbourhoods clean and tidy, and our Grounds Maintenance and Mobile Cleaning teams work hard to make sure they do just that. But we need your help to upkeep your neighbourhoods, to make sure they continue to be green and clean - that’s why we’re introducing our regular neighbourhood clean-up event schedule.
Our new timetable of neighbourhood clean-up events will kick off next month and run through to October. Keep an eye on our Events page or our social media where we'll share these details with you.
Come along to a clean-up event
Why not come along and volunteer with us? It’s a great way to catch up with your neighbours and other volunteers while helping make sure your neighbourhood is a place you can be proud to live.
What to expect
Great you’ve decided to take part in one of our clean-ups! All you need to do is pop along to meet our team at the event meeting point (detailed on the event information), you’ll be given a briefing and the tools needed to get stuck in tidying your neighbourhood. There’ll also be a skip booked so that any waste can be removed safely.
We’d like to see as many customers as possible get involved – it’s really rewarding and satisfying to see areas tidied up for everyone to enjoy.
