You’re invited to come along to our new neighbourhood inspections. As part of our ongoing work to improve the services you receive from us, we're introducing our new neighbourhood inspections in your areas. It's really important to us to make sure we're managing your neighbourhoods well and stay on top of any necessary work is a big part of this – these new neighbourhood inspections will help us do just that.

What is a neighbourhood inspection?

Neighbourhood inspections are all about us working together to keep your neighbourhoods looking great. During each inspection, we'll assess everything from the condition of our facilities, to the upkeep of our green spaces, ensuring everything is in shipshape. These new inspections offer an opportunity to connect with your Neighbourhood Officer and local councillors every other month to chat about any pain points you have in your local area.

Neighbourhood inspections are for reviewing our outdoor areas, if you have issues in your home you want to report, please save those for your annual home visit (tenancy experience visit) or get in touch with your Neighbourhood Officer directly.

Why are neighbourhood inspections important?

We know it’s important to you to take pride in where you live. To achieve that, your neighbourhoods need to look good, making them great places to live. That's why it's a priority for us to manage your neighbourhoods well and make sure we stay on top of any necessary work.

How can I get involved?

We’d love to see you at your next neighbourhood inspection. Join us as we walk around your neighbourhood, there'll be plenty of chances to voice concerns about your local area, whether it's about fly tipping or overgrown trees. Whatever it is, tell us about it and we’ll note it down to get sorted by the next inspection.

And if you can’t attend, don’t worry, you can chat to your Neighbourhood Officer before the inspection to tell them about any concerns you’d like to see addressed in your local area.

When do they take place?

Your local Neighbourhood Inspection will take place on the same day and time every other month. You can find out when your next neighbourhood inspection is taking place over on the Neighbourhoods page.

And if you have any questions, just fill out or Contact us form here or give us a call on 0330 3551000 and someone in our Customer Contact Centre will be happy to help.
