Customers who pay garage rent

This letter was delivered to all of our customers who pay garage rent to One Manchester.

Garage rent notification 2024/25

Dear XXXX,

This letter and the additional documents are sent to you by One Manchester Limited of Lovell House, 6 Archway, Hulme, Manchester M15 5RN.

We’re writing to let you know that after a full review of our rent charges, we’ve taken the difficult decision to increase your garage rent. From 1 April 2024, your new garage rent payment will change to £xxx per quarter.

We always try to keep our charges as affordable as possible, but increasing cost have meant we’ve unfortunately had no choice but to review and increase our charges.

Your new payment is made up as follows:

  • Garage rent: VAT (if applicable): £xx
  • VAT (if applicable): £xxx
  • Total charge £xxx

Your garage account balance at XXXX is £xxx in arrears.

Paying your rent

If you pay by Direct Debit, we’ll automatically change this for you.

If you currently pay your rent by standing order, you’ll need to change this as the amount you have to pay has changed.

With this letter, you will find:

A document called ‘Service Charges – Summary of Tenants Rights and Obligations’.  If you pay a “variable service charge” (as defined in Section 18 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985) then this notice sets out your rights. (Please note reference to ‘lease’ also means reference to your ‘tenancy’).

If you’ve got any questions about your rent payments, give us a call on 0330 355 1000, or you can visit our website and complete our contact us form, our team will be happy to help you.

Many thanks,

Nicole Kershaw
