Whether you need help choosing the best way to pay, managing your payments, or you’re struggling to pay, we’re here for you. This guide is packed with information to help you navigate your rent and find the right solution for you.

Ways to pay your rent

Everyone’s situation is different, and finding the right way to pay your rent is important. There are plenty of ways to pay – find the route that works for you.

Here are the options available:  

  • Direct Debit - Direct Debit is the hassle-free way to pay your rent automatically every month. Once set up, your rent will be paid on time, every time. Give us a call and we can get you set up.
  • Customer Portal -  You can manage and pay your rent online quickly and easily through using our Customer Portal. Setting up an account is simple, and you can access your rent details anytime. Set up an account here.
  • PayPoint - You can also pop in to your local PayPoint shop and pay using your card.
  • Automated payment line - Paying by phone is another option. Just call 0330 041 5530 and use your bank card to make a payment.

Direct Debit - the worry-free way to pay

We know that keeping track of your rent payments can be tricky, in our busy everyday lives. That’s where Direct Debit comes in, setting it up is easy, and once it’s sorted, you won’t have to think about it again. Your rent will be paid automatically, so you don’t have to worry about missing a payment and not only that, it’s secure and reliable too. As well as us amending it for you each year to reflect any changes to your rent charge, removing that worry and administration.

Struggling to pay rent?

We all face challenges from time to time, and if you’re struggling to pay your rent, it’s important to reach out for help. Our Income team is here to support you through difficult times. It’s important to let us know if you’re having problems as soon as possible, so we can help and stop it becoming a bigger problem.
Our Income team can:

  • Answer your questions
  • Help you make a rent payment
  • Set you up on a rent re-payment plan – so you can pay your rent  arrears in manageable installments
  • Complete an affordability assessment to ensure the repayment plan reflects your existing commitments.
  • Help you set up a Direct Debit
  • Refer you to our Financial Inclusion team for additional support

This might include setting up a rent re-payment plan to make it easier to manage and completing our affordability assessment to ensure the amount you pay back each month or week is affordable for you to maintain.
 

A great way to pay your rent is by Direct Debit. To set up a Direct Debit just give us a call on 0330 355 1000 and the team will get the process started over the phone. 

Setting up a customer portal account is quick and easy. Just head over to this page to register for an account. All you need is your National Insurance number, tenancy number, and an email address. Once you’re registered, you can manage and pay your rent online.
