Let's Talk About What's Next programme

Explore what your next step could be, through four weekly taster sessions at a local community venue near you.

Two people at computer workshop

Our brand-new programme will give you the chance to explore what your next step could be. Each session will be 90 minutes long and will explore a different theme, and will take place during school hours and evenings:

  • Session 1 – Work
  • Session 2 – Skills
  • Session 3 – Training
  • Session 4 – Building confidence and setting goals

You can choose to come to all of them, or just the ones that suit you. Whatever your choice, you’ll have what you need to take your next step – whether it’s discovering volunteering opportunities, career options or developing further skills for work.

Can’t make it or prefer 1-2-1 support?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Our friendly learning mentors are also available to give you 1-2-1 support and advice at any stage, if it works better for you to chat on a more personal level about how we can help you and your next steps.

Giving you a helping hand

We know that it can sometimes be difficult to find time for you when family life or caring responsibilities are your main focus. That’s why we’re offering help with:

  • Childcare – some of our centres will offer free play sessions to look after the kids whilst you’re attending;
  • Public transport costs;
  • Any other support you may need with your caring responsibilities. We want to make it work for you, so do chat to us and we’ll do what we can to help.

Interested?

We’re particularly keen to hear from One Manchester customers currently not in work or training. Whatever your situation may be, our new programme is all about helping you explore what’s next for you in a friendly and supportive environment.

Prefer to chat to us on the phone? No problem, just give our friendly team a call on 0161 230 1057.

We support hundreds of people every year just like you and we’d love to help you on that same journey. Let’s talk!
