An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Strategy and Partnerships Team for a Project Assistant to join us.

We’re looking for someone to contribute to One Manchester’s social investment and business development by coordinating key tasks and providing project and administrative support. You will support the work of the Strategy and Partnerships team, focusing upon project and administrative support, monitoring and analysis, and supporting funding applications.

Ideally we’re looking for you to have held a similar role, along with excellent organisation and planning skills with a strong level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must be able to prioritise and manage your own workload, working to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks at once. Holding good IT abilities, you'll be able to research, analyse and present complex information effectively to a range of audiences using tools such as Excel and Powerpoint. It’s also vital to the role that you hold strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to overcome issues.

If we receive high levels of applications for the role, we may close the role early. Please apply as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

One Manchester strives for equality, diversity and inclusion in all that we do. We positively encourage applications for employment from eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.

We also seek to promote a culture of flexible working where possible and practical and applications from candidates seeking flexible and/ or part time working patterns will be considered. Going forward we will be transitioning to a culture where agile working will be a feature of many of our roles.

We are a Disability confident employer and we will work to ensure reasonable adjustments are in place where possible throughout the recruitment journey and into employment.
