Ardwick and Longsight Food Bank is a work of co-operation between local churches to help locally to alleviate suffering due to food poverty and is a project of Command Prayer Centre Ministries International (CPCMI). Operating as a food bank distribution centre since 2013, they rebranded in 2017 to expand the scope of our outreach to some of the more marginalised groups in Manchester.

Northmoor Community Association (NCA) is an independent charity set up by the local community in 2000. Based in Longsight, it's made up of two parts: Northmoor Community Centre and Northmoor Hub. NCA is run with an emphasis on relieving poverty, promoting health and wellbeing, advancing skills, and learning and enhancing the quality of life for the people who engage with us and use our services. This is a reflection of their mission and volunteer designed and community endorsed logo.
